the 15v shaman makes the 15v shaman seem overpriced; just like all the other shamans.

It has to do with the machining of the contoured G-10 scales and nested skeletonized stainless steel liners.

We all view value differently. It’s useful to record and compare prices and materials, but value is not generally an objective quality.

To say the same thing differently, I think there is a lot more variation in people’s standards regarding value, both within and outside this forum, than we can effectively appreciate or easily understand.

My own standards aren’t even consistent or absolute.

The LT3 K390 tempts me and frustrates me because I just bought the VG10 3 weeks ago and thought my scratch was itched. But while it seems costly on paper for what you get, it’s just such a great knife. Now I may end up buying the K390 to go along with the VG10.

The Enuff K390 seems like a great steel for the design. Mules are solid and a nice surprise since they have used the steel in production.

My “wishlist” was almost completed and now expanded back to the length it was. Vicious cycle.

I think the Enuff 2 is the first production fixed blade in k390. Or among the first.

The steel is rare outside of Spyderco, in general.

The Stok knives look like good daily carry fixed blades 👍
Love the look of the bowie, but the lower tip placement and less belly of the drop point looks more useful for me.
Don't think I'd ever use the G Clip, but the sheath looks decent for neck carry.
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but these two knives are most exciting, especially at their price point.

Thanks Spyderco for offering more affordable fixed blades 👍
One feature these knives have that the Bow River does not is a pronounced guard or choil. I prefer not being so easily able to slide up on the blade.

I’ll be the first to say I’m excited for the counter critters. I bought the counter puppies as soon as they were released and my spouse loves them as paring type knives. That the critters are larger should be better for me because they should fit me better.

I like the Stok Fixed Blade knives as well for a street price of $70. I don’t need the G-Clip attachment either so perhaps a lower priced option without it. Also, I would prefer a Sheepsfoot or Wharncliffe blade for more desktop utility.

Yes. The Enuff2 in VG-10 & K390 can’t be priced the same.

In the meantime, you can pre-order it at the lower price from BladeHQ.

I hope the price correction on the Enuff 2 is lowering the MSRP on the VG10 one. $40 more is what they charge for K390 on the rest of their knives.

Here is to hoping that the CPM15V mule won’t be a bloodbath to get.

Enuff2 VG-10 PlainEdge & SpyderEdge Black FRN were announced in Reveal 10 (JUN 2022) for MSRP of $240, they haven’t been delivered yet and their MSRP hasn’t changed since. The MSRP of a K390 should be about $50-$70 more than VG-10.

If the price stays the same on the Enuff2 until it reaches Europe, I'll definitely get one. Otherwise I'd be happy enough with my K390 Mule (got it thanks to a very kind french collector) once it gets the stabilized burl treatment.

Otherwise, this reveal is full of knife designs and variations that I can only love ! I won't buy all of them (I hope), but there's already changes in my to-buy list, these 4 came in :
15V Mule & AEB-L Mule
Military 2
Stok bowie or drop point
(and maybe a 15V PM2...)
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Would definitely put it out of my price range. I may just stick to getting the 15V mule.

it's crazy how many people outside of this forum dump on spyderco every time a reveal or product guide is released. they complain that there are only new variants, but ignore the steel innovation. in the same breath they complain about the steel in new models like the stok, failing to see that budget fixed blades aren't well represented in the vast lineup from spyderco. i don't envy the position of a company that has to try and please all of us whiners.

I just really want to play with some 15v, since some of Shawn's videos got me hyped on high performance steels and edge geometry in the first place back in the day. His logo on the blade is so rad for Spyderco to do.

That being said, the scramble for sprint runs is hectic and stressful and usually unless something is decently available I try to forget about it. And I already have enough pm2s and one shaman, which is really too thick in the edge for me.

If they would make 15v a production steel like they did with maxamet that would be a sweet thing for us nerds.

I have yet to own and carry a native 5, that would be my buy in 15v if they did it in the brown g10, I don't care for frn haha.
