Carrying both of these today. I like the coated hardware and the zome is nice. Looking forward to see how it compares.

I saw someone on Reddit who bought this as their first Spyderco knife. Interesting and great choice I'd say.

Got mine. No real surprises as it's like my 10th or 11th Dragonfly. I like it.

How is everyone liking the steel on this one? How does it compare to the standard VG-10 for general EDC?

It's most commonly used in Japanese kitchen knives. Takes a screaming sharp edge easily, rusts easily, but takes a nice patina.

It's nice. The steel is fine, a good carbon steel; mostly I like the looks of this one.

Re: Sprint Run Super Blue Dragonfly
Mine came with a beautifully exquisite edge which frankly given my experiences with other Seki City knives was very surprising. It was truly scary sharp out of the box and I've used it for lots of minor tasks and a few that were probably a little more than it should have been done with no issues at all. I completely understand now why Super Blue is used so much in high-end Japanese kitchen knives.WilliamMunny wrote: ↑Fri Mar 03, 2023 8:05 amHow is everyone liking the steel on this one?
