Hi Alex, if this collab ever materializes in the far, far future, please kindly make the clips ambidextrous...thanks! From all lefties out there.

He’s said on instagram that he will eventually make LH Lamia’s - being a lefty as well, I’d love this because I have several Sharks and Sasquatch’s and really enjoy them.

Well...that's awesome news. 🙂

I like to be inclusive but man I really feel like left-handed clip mounting holes have spoiled the aesthetics of a ton of otherwise perfect knives, simply to appease less than 10% of users.

M398 or the upcoming T15 could be a good fit if they both tested well enough to justify putting in a higher end folder!

Like the other Taichung titanium framelock knives, I think CPM-S90V would be a well received steel on the Lamia. That said, I think Vanax would suit it best; but I also know that Spyderco has yet to use this incredible steel.

+1 for Vanax (I have 2 sharks in it and they are awesome). Can’t go wrong with Cruwear or S90v either.

Aesthetics is a small price to pay for letting the 10% be able to fully and comfortably operate an otherwise 90% only knife, and opens up an additional market for lefty customers also. 😉

I think cost is the #1 factor why Vanax has yet to be used in any Spydie.

Vanax would make this too expensive.

Man I hope this materializes. Elmax or XHP could be fun? Though in truth I'm going to buy this regardless of the steel choice.

Shipped! Should be at Golden tomorrow. Needed everything to be perfect. So, may not be at Shot Show. But, I’m confident it’ll be a hit either way. I’d like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support and I’d like to especially thank Sal for taking the time to even consider looking at my design. It means a lot. I appreciate all of you.

Super stoked to see this, Alex!
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Hi Bk.Obamah, SPK_ULDB,

Welcome to our forum.

Hi Alex,

Thanx much for jumping on that. Appreciate. The crew is already in Las Vegas for SHOT. Our Alex will watch for it and it will surely go to Amsterdam and IWA.

Love the minimalist hardware and the form. Just would love a large enough handle for big hands. Spydiechef is the smallest I can go without being a pain. Much love for the LC200N and just got my first Vanax knife that could make this a double duty food prep knife. I like the look of the non textured handles for the sake of keeping it clean in design and the practical side of ease of cleaning.

Sadly, yes. I would like to see more manufacturers selling lefties like Spyderco does on the Millie as an option for those who love the aesthetic of a clean looking knife such as this. After market scales fixes this for some models.
