Did anyone else notice that the yellow Salt 2 series is now H2 instead of H1? I'm about to go research it because I've never heard of this steel before.

h1 was discontinued by the maker. h2 is supposed to be an equivalent replacement, but not much has been said about it. looking forward to trying it out, personally, but i'm definitely a little apprehensive because i really loved h1.

Larrin had a post on his website about it. The composition was tweaked a little bit but my takeaway, for whatever it’s worth, is that most people won’t be able to tell much of a difference between the two, which is good to keep that material doing what it does best for its specific purpose.

Almost halfway through the month and not a single knife has dropped yet. There’s an Exclusive Yojimbo dropping next week and the week after that two Sprint Runs. I was hoping for the regular production Lil' Native Wharncliffe Compression Lock CPM-S30V Black G-10 to drop by now.

Of course, it’s great to see the Native5 MagnaCut finally trickling in to dealers.

No telling but may be soon. PE has not shipped to retailers yet it seems as it also has not hit the SFO yet. SE hit the SFO first and was available on retailers websites a few days later.

Thanks. I hope that it’s soon… I have plenty of other great knives, but this will be my first ever experience with Magnacut…and it’s on a Native, so that makes it better.
