I opened a gift from my wife to find a Benchmade box.

It was odd because my wife knows I buy the knives I want,
and she doesn't really know what I like in a knife.
I opened the box to find a Halo headband.

👍👍👍

The headband will get MUCH more use than a Benchmade--not that there's anything wrong with Benchmades.

those headbands work great, I use one for cycling in the summer. Just keep in mind they leave a funny looking imprint on your forehead ;)

I have a variety of Halo's.
I've found that the imprint diverts attention from the rest of my face.

I can't figure out how to post a picture without using a online picture hosting service, and that is something I don't use, but I got a blue handled standard Endura! Not a fancy steel for many people, but it is a major upgrade for me and already shows promise for performing much better than I am used to with higher grit edges. Yeah, I touched it up a little already just to get a feel for it! :grin-smiling-eyes

I was lucky enough to grab a 15V Manix 2 on Thursday, but it's not scheduled to arrive until Wednesday. Almost perfect timing for a Christmas present to myself. I've been waiting for one of those since they were announced in what feels like almost a year ago.

I just ordered a bronze anodized deep carry clip for it and will most likely add a flytanium brass ball cage lock in the near future to "finish" it off.

I got myself a PITS and an S35VN Tenacious on Black Friday, I consider those my Christmas gifts to myself. Enjoying both!
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I bought an Assist with Christmas money. I've been looking at it ever since my sister borrowed/claimed my Rescue. The Rescue I had (black FRN) got me out of a sticky situation once and didn't break in the process - I used it to pry a door up; was the only thing I had so I used it.

The performance of that knife and reading here on the forums convinced me that serrations aren't so bad after all! Excited to try out the Assist when it gets here.

Nice addition to your already nice collection! I like your Spydies, but also envy your Wells custom folder.

I didn’t get a Spyderco for Christmas, but I just gave our local call fireman a late Christmas present, a Lightweight Thin Red Line Endela and a Native 5 LW. He got two Spyderco’s.😉

Got a carbon fiber dog tag slip joint from friends. It's pretty cool. Thought it was thoughtful of them to find something I didn't have.
