I trust you folks all know of our wild fires in Southern California with many people having lost their homes and everything they owned. Imagine if Linda were mixed up in something like that and maybe we can understand some inattention to a knife side business.

I'm not involved either way in this, but ... maybe it's just the way I'm wired, but regardless of what difficulties I am personally going through, if I owe something to someone (whether it's my time, or money, or whatever), I find a way to at least let them know that I'm facing some difficulties that will prevent me from living up to my obligations. In this case, all it takes is going into an internet cafe, paying $4 to access a terminal, and making a single post saying, "guys, I'm having a problem, I owe some of you money or merchandise, please hang on." Given the nearly-insane level of loyalty and good-will being shown Linda in this thread, such a post would probably take the heat off for months.

I'll be honest, I know I would find some way to do at least the above minimal communication regardless of my personal situation or tragedy. I know you guys like her, but the behavior being shown by her is so outrageous, that the excuses and hypothetical tragedies we're trying to invent for her are looking ridiculous.

This behavior is inexcuseable. You guys who are being screwed have every right to aggressively seek remuneration, until such time as you force her to at least minimally face her obligation to explain to you what's going on.

I don't know Linda (except for a couple of emails), but something similar to this situation happened to a family friend.

He couldn't respond to his customers after he was struck by a car while walking down the street. He suffered a major brain injury and was hospitalized for nearly a year. Today, he still isn't 100%.

I hope nothing like that has gone on here.

Uhm, people. Some of you seem to be overlooking this thread which indicates that she's still working, so no, she's not in a coma or whatever.

My 2 cents on this...

Mail Fraud (last time I looked, selling and taking money through the mail for items you don't deliver can qualify as mail fraud) is a FEDERAL CRIME. It may not be worth proceeding down this path for a 100 bucks or so, but just hearing about the guys that got ripped off by this Spydie seller makes me mad due to some of my own past bad experiences with other net sellers.

Stevie Ray :

When I first dealt with GlassHartt, she sent me an e-mail clearly stating :"I don't have a storefront, nor much in stock..." and she's
also a Law Enforcement dealer FIRST. I'm not
LE, but am NOT childish where I can't wait
for a better price. That being the case, pay full price elsewhere.

Chuckling ... Sterling advice Al. I've banked it.

Let us know when you send your next check to Linda.

I suggest we all chip in with 5 bucks or so for Westicle and the guy that didn't receive the Ronin. I'm in...

Let's have one of the moderators collect the funds via paypal and forward same to these two guys that got ripped off. Carlos .. you out there ??? Let's put an end to this thread and take care of these guys ...

I just can't figure out why shes not addressing this.As far I I know she is working and knows this thread is here.
As far as people wanting to take up for her.IMO thats admireable but if I had sent money for something and it did not come with in a week or so(unless told it would be longer and given some kind of time frame)I would be ready to let out the dogs.

You try letting the dogs out all the way over in Denmark and see if they can bide when they arriwe in Tejas. I ordered a knife. It didn´t get here. I then mailed, but no reply..... What dogs should I send?
OBTW, did I mention that it was a special run of Viking Ronins signed by Sal´s own hand, and goldplated (24K). The price was 600$. Just incase you wanna send me the money for a new bike...ehh I mean knife.

Glasshart a Fraud?

Kind of looks that way. (any act of deceit or cheating)

You been cheated out of your money without any response from her...what is she dead!
Doesn't matter if it was 10 bucks or 600. And an LEO on top of that-go figure.

Excuses are like butt holes-everyone has one.

Heres a link to a site that may help you.I guess it is the only opption you have. She is working and knows about this thread so it must be that she just don't give a !@#$.
Its a shame too,she could have really done well in it if she had gone all the way and advertised on the forums.

Awright :

www.ftc.gov

fredswartz ( Jerry ) the Interstate Commerce
Commission doesn't really handle "Net fraud"
but the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) will
look into the matter. They also have an "800"
number but I don't have it at hand. I'd recommend that U.S. forum members contact her
and leave a message on her answering machine FIRST. If no reply, then the FTC's the ONLY way to go.

I would bet that if you used this link http://www.ci.el-paso.tx.us/police/eppd_contact_us.htm and explain the problem it will get her attention.

I would say that if it's possible, someone who's living near El Paso could just help go down and talk to Linda face-to-face. It'll help a lot. Sometimes, problems snowball until the point where one no longer wants to deal with it...preferring the "ostrich" method ie. hiding the head under the sand and "pretending" the problem isn't there. I know, I've faced such problems before - it's very difficult sometimes. But if someone were there to help me out, I could have definitely dealt with the problem better. I live alone (w/o family) and facing problems aren't as easy as everyone thinks.

In the present circumstances, the silence on Linda's part isn't helping her situation.

Please someone go see her. Even if it doesn't resolve the non-delivery issues here, it will at least help ensure that she's ok.
