If you're willing to wait til whenever they come in stock again, https://www.knifecenter.com/item/SP41CF ... er-handles
It’s actually a good way to plan on getting one before you pass away and paying later for it.

I finally sprung for a Swick 6 from MandH Tactical on eBay. They offered 25% off and I had a little something sitting in my PayPal account plus a recent sale on eBay.

Now about that Siren…

I thought this second release they blacked the liners out.
Edit: They aren’t blacked out. Should have like the purple pm2.

I thought this second release they blacked the liners out. Like they did on purple pm2. Not sure tho. Could be original photos.
Jordan from DLT confirmed they did not black out the liners on this second run of the S90V like they did on the 2nd run of the Purple Cruwear.

Source makes all the difference to some. Some people want near-perfect specimens which passed QC and includes full warranty.

Factory Seconds: “Spyderco factory-second products are not covered under our standard warranty policy”.

I was holding strong through this morning. Had only picked up the GiantMouse Jutland ($156, St Nick's), and also the Native 5 Salt MagnaCut Pre-order ($114, KC).

Apparently, I couldn't resist FOMO despite my very best efforts. Grabbed a Sage 5 Lightweight from KSF this morning for $113. And then decided that I would get in on the final KC Pre-order for that gorgeous fluted G10 Native 5 ($212).

I told myself I could always cancel the pre-orders, and it really doesn't hurt to put them on order. Will see what I end up doing, and also which comes back in stock first.

Overall, I did really well in not buying all of the great deals. Although a few of the PM2 deals and the Cruwear Yojimbo deal stand out as ones I thought hard about getting. And there were a ton of great FRN deals to be had.

This has been a fun thread for the past few days, and I hope we can do it again soon! I also hope everyone snagged what you wanted, and didn't your budget didn't get busted too much!

FWIW, I don’t notice the liners at all.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I visited a few sites just to a scroll through all the prices going back to normal. It’s so sad. I’m glad I spent years worth of knife budget to hold me over till next map holiday 😉

Can you imagine?? That would be pretty sweet to be able to get finances in order all year, and then splurge on knives as Black Friday came around. Not a bad deal, besides missing out on sprints and exclusives throughout the year.

Whew... Made it through holding myself to just the one KSF order. K390 Stretch and teal wharnie Delica are great, though I'm trying not to flash the Delica around the house until I can gift my wife hers.

I was way too close to going back to try out a Sage 5, or a Chaparral, or a Chief or Shaman, or even just picking up a backup PM2 or Para3 at a good price, hah.

I'll echo the other "annual MAP holiday" comments, though... Not sure how motivated I'll be to buy anything regular production for the next year if this is going to be a recurring thing

Question for those who ordered from TKJ on Friday. Is your order still processing?

I paged through so many websites this weekend. Turns out I'd either already bought the knives I wanted (not a get them all collector) or I've talked myself out the the others long ago.

I did try buying a Pacific Salt 2 in H1 before they went away, but when it came it was an H2 blade. OK, don't buy things at 4am, and now I've got a sample of H2 to play with.

Big thanks to all the dealers for the great deals.

TKJ was the fastest to give me a shipping notice, followed closely by WMK. I would follow up with them to make sure nothing went wrong.
