Thanks for the heads up.
My first Shaman is on the way.
Thanks for the heads up.
That really is a great price on that! Are you going to switch up the clip, or take a chance with it as is?
I have both and they are so far apart in use, that you would need to clearly define your actual needs. The Opera is a gentleman's folder and the GB2 is hard use working knife. One is an Acura, the other a Ford F250. Which would you use the most?bleasure wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 1:06 pmI need help. This is too much.
Do I get a GB2 or a SpyOpera? I love the design of both. But I'd need to mod the GB2 because I hate carbon fiber, so would buy or make alternative scales for it.
One is cheaper, and simpler, and I very much want it. But for some reason that doesn't just win the day. I've wanted a GB2 for a long time, but have been held back by overall price, objections to design ppl have, and extra price of scales. This would be the time? But the SpyOpera is $113!!!
This is literally impossible for my brain. I'm a deer in the headlights of OOS and deal deadlines.
Nice! It was a tossup between those exact two knives or a backup Watu and an Ikuchi for me. I went with the Taichung duo hoping that I might still be able to get a deal on the K390 knives later on. It is my first experience with KSF, at what point in the purchase process does KnivesShipFree apply rewards points to your acct?
Hm, good point and good question. I guess the thing is, I have enough knives that any real *needs* are covered already. I have a BK9. I have several species of pm 2/3. I have a native 5 m4, strech2 zdp, wolfspyder, df2, a metric ton of classic Camillus knives, civivis, excellent axes, good tools. I don't exactly need either, but both would be used well and find plenty of time in my pocket.
You will have absolutely no regrets at that price. The edge and tip on those are absolutely wicked. My s90v Yo 2 slices effortlessly and Cruwear should take an even finer edge than it does.
