What mods have you done on the Mcbee?
What do you think of an Emerson wave on it?
Since it is small, an opening mechanism on the draw can be interesting.

I got a deep carry Lynch clip and would love jimping for front flipping option but then I thought, Hey! A wave behind the hole makes the most sense. Instant open!

Just a thought, a wave would actually make front flipping easier?!??? The wave would catch your thumb, giving a great purchase for a flip

That would be the bees Mc-nees (ha! Pun intended)

No mods done on my McBee since I don't want to ruin my little overbuilt coin pocket knife, but I'd recommend trying one of those attachable hook openers to get a feel for the functionality at this size before physically changing the knife.

A wolf has teeth.
An eagle has talons.
We, have Spyderco.

Lynch clip and paracord make the Mcbee a nice necklace

How is the detent. I always worry about jewelrying (I verbed that noun) knives with a frame/liner/compression lock.

On mine the detent is light, but so is the blade. It seems to be sufficient as I cannot shake the blade out on mine.

I have three and the detent retention is normal on all of them.

Mine is strong. I don’t worry about it and under the shirt it has nothing to make it open
