The Pakkawood Delica exclusive is a really nice looking knife from KnifeCenter and is currently available for $155. Much cheaper and easier to find than some of the other models.

With what you could actually find now I would recommend the Ivory/Damasteel Urban. I polished mine but you could always get some different scales made if that’s your flavor. I wear mine clipless in the bottom of my dress pants, in case you don’t want something clipped to your pocket on the big day.

+2, this does nicely say important day to remember kind of spyderco.

Have you looked on the Sooner State Knives page? They usually have some of the hard to find models at acceptable prices. I have bought from them without any problems. Try looking in the "other models" or "discontinued" categories.

That is another great idea ! The wood really gives the Delica well deserved class . Dan

I'd second the following three
- CF weave/ G10 laminate Chaparral
- Hap40 pakkawood Delica
- Damasteel Urban

Each is excellent.

I went with the Lil Nilakka for my wedding.

Congrats! Lil’ Nilakka (2.3” blade length of RWL34 powdered stainless steel) is a very unique one batch and done piece (Flash Batch).

It's a great little knife! Tiny blade that actually drops shut. Great build quality and such a great sliver removing tool!

Choose carefully! One of the few Benchmades I have left is the knife I bought for my wedding. I also got my groomsmen, FIL, and BIL matching knives. All LE versions of the 705 model with silver G10 scales.

Some good suggestions here, good luck!

I'd like to thank everyone for their input on this topic. So many great suggestions, unfortunately most are not available through the SFO! I'm still keeping an eye out, and an ear to the ground for something to catch my eye that I must have. If I don't find a winner at a decent price I'll probably just carry something I already have. Probably the Ti/Cf millie, or maybe the micarta shaman. I love both of those knives, and I don't see them leaving the collection easily. I am of course still open to more ideas and suggestions if people have them! Though I suspect most new suggestions might be even further discontinued and much harder to find for a reasonable price. Thanks all :)

Some of the currently available models through SFO that I am looking at, but obviously haven't fully sold me. Pattadese, Spydiechef, Brouwer, Swayback, Native Chief sprint

Snag a s90v native chief before they’re gone. I actually like how mine wears when I’m in a suit. Congrats!!!

I'd recommend the respect. It's what I'm planning to carry for my wedding. It'll work well to cut the cake and the sheath will make it more discreet. Also the stud will work without a belt if your tux has suspenders.

I love the idea of a fixed blade, in fact I have a few fixed blades that were previously owned by deceased relatives and I'll likely carry one of those as well. That's part of the reason I was considering a small gentleman's folder for the pocket as an addition.
