I completely missed this online sale. My budget took a basement beating on Fri, so I feel I've dodged a bullet...

This was great. I got 2 of the ZDP mules I missed at first release, a PITS (couldn't get into it before due to price but it looks super cool), a LW P3 that I think my brother will really dig and some more inexpensive models, to either ensure I got free shipping or just to try. Stayed away from most of the sprints and exclusives because they can be hard to get with so many other scrambling for them (also, I had a good number of the exclusives/sprints/special steels I saw on sale already).

Anyway, Thank you, Sal, Kristi and all other Spydiecrew who helped make this happen. It seems like not only did a lot of folks get some good deals, but despite some loading issues when the server was getting hit hard, I'm not seeing nearly as many complaints. I would absolutely be interested in doing this again (though I'd still like to visit the SFO for it sometime).

Really excellent weekend for picking up spydies from a number of places.

Totally missed the online seconds sale, though I spent way too much money at other knife dealers on Spydercos anyway . What were some of the good deals at the online seconds sale? I'll have to keep it in mind for next year.

Here's a pic of the listings for anyone who can't get to the page as of a few minutes ago. More models keep being added every few minutes it seems however. For example, I noticed the Urban sprint got added right after I uploaded this, $150, and the regular Yojumbo for $90.

Would have snagged another Yojumbo DLC or two at that price. Dunno how it is I was on this forum every day and even replied to this thread but didn't see any mention of an online sale until I checked in to see why this thread kept getting bumped.

If Spyderco had an email list of customers who have made prior purchases, they could send out an email shortly before it went live.

They did post it to their app, can anyone confirm if a notification was sent out by the app to give people a heads up?

Yep the app gave me a notification, maybe 40 minutes ahead of time

The app didn’t give me a notification. It has never been reliable, but the SFO employees keep recommending it.

I passed on the ZDP Mules due to the questionable heat treatment, and the $16 Ambitious sold out during the >1 hour it took the site to let me check out, but I’m glad to have gotten a couple of knives.

A Maxamet PM2 and another P.I.T.S. will be enough for me.

I received a notification on the app, but that was when I woke up at about 4 in the morning where I'm at, so I missed out on most of the good deals already. Would have wanted another Para 3 LW Spy27 just to replace the stripped pivot screw on mine.

My spyderco app notified me about 40 minutes before sale started. It was also one of the only ways I could click on a working link to take me to the sale page

On a positive note, I'm grateful that Sal, Kristi and Co. decided to host another Online Seconds Sale despite their initial adamant stance against holding another. I'm really really hoping that this becomes an annual tradition in line with the in-person Seconds Sale, even though you guys may have to withhold some of the good knives for in-person attendees. I may not have scored here but I'm glad for those who have.

I got super lucky and just stumbled on a FB post about the sale. Jumped on to see what the ruckus was all about and after tons of refreshing and time outs I managed to snag a Manix 2. Since I've never participated in one of these, any idea on how long it takes to ship out? I imagine they are buried with orders, etc so it'll take a while. Just curious.
