I am hoping so too because I really also want a REC Manix 10V DLC. I also already have a Manix S30V so I do not need three Manix unless I can get them at the right price. I want to use these things and not just collect them.

Böker now says, they can ship it from January 20th. But again, this is an EU-dealer. US-dealers usually have it a few week prior.

Not instead, but it sounds like it may be put off until the expansion is complete. This was a way to get Shawn's heat treat on the 15V out faster.

He does that with VG10 too though. Not to compare the two steels but more to make a point of how good he specifically is at sharpening.

I would venture to guess that most people who get this knife won’t be able to bring it to that level of sharpness. (myself included)
