There's a chance it could still pop up somewhere online, but I think they're done dropping.

As soon as the KnifeJoy email hit my inbox, I clicked the link and whatever they had was gone.

Yes, I have been using mine as a daily user. So far it has not been used for any heavy work but I have been impressed that it has not needed to be touched up yet.

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
I've carried mine a few times, but I just can't get past the jimping on the handle. I'll have to mod mine or wait to get a PM2 and move it along. This is my 2nd G-10 manix2, I gifted the other to my nephew because it just hurt my hands in use.
Guess I'm a tender hand.

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
I’ve been using mine. Did a quick freehand sharpening (which I’m rusty at) and took the angle down to 15 degrees per side with a 140 Atoma, then 600 grit Atoma. I finished with a few very light passes at slightly higher angle around 17 degrees on a DMT XXF. Only took a few minutes and it was sharper than factory with good slicing aggression and popping hairs off the arm. I haven’t used it a lot since then because I just sharpened it a couple days ago, but it goes through packaging really nicely. I plan to send it off for a regrind soon though as I’m used to carrying much thinner knives.

The majority of the user reports are on Instagram.

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
Good to know! I'd hate to think of a bunch of people just sitting around flicking this knife and opening letters or cutting fruit with it, or worse yet sitting in a safe.Deadboxhero wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 12:00 pmThe majority of the user reports are on Instagram.

On a hike with me yesterday viewtopic.php?p=1694055#p1693978
I don't carry a Manix much anymore, so I've kept it where it gets use every day opening packages and breaking down cardboard. I reach for it when I'm home and need to cut something in a effort to dull the factory edge. So far no success. Use cases are pretty pedestrian for me this time of year unless I have a knarly project going.
While doing some clean up I found some CF scales and black hardware waiting for a home, so I put them on thinking that it might encourage me to get the knife out and about, which it did. Only use for a knife so far today was opening a box of coffee beans from Onyx.
Were you able to snag one? I'm looking forward to the PM2 variant as that is one of my favorite carries.
Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
I forgot about those scales! Those were from an exclusive with a hollow ground blade right?abbazaba wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 2:02 pmOn a hike with me yesterday viewtopic.php?p=1694055#p1693978

I was able to get one. Carried it around at work for a few weeks...was actually considering it yesterday and today, but that Small 31 Insingo/Magnacut doesn't want to leave my pocket. Pretty sure I'll be carrying the Manix again next week.
Trying to get the most out of my newer knives before we hire my next replacement (since the guy I had all trained up took a better opportunity position for himself) Puts more work on my plate balancing my previous job and learning/working my new one...but still gives me more time to use these knives!! So I'm not complaining TOO MUCH haha.

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
mine is still in the packaging. i took it out again the other day to feel the edge and it is so sharp. maybe the sharpest i've seen from factory so far. i'm looking forward to putting it to use and seeing how it goes. soon.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 12:10 pmGood to know! Ya, 4v with the hollow grind. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=81238&p=1269390&hil ... g#p1269390
Not sure why someone would take them off that knife, never mind sell them to me for cheap, but I was there to buy them! AND I gave them the gift of 11 more V's lol. Love the Golden CF in all forms I've had it.
Re: CPM 15v Manix 2
was that 4V and CF shred Manix a Fradon lock exclusive?
