PITS w/Lynch clip?

#1

Post by Bemo »

Quick question. Loving my PITS. Can't get it out of my pocket. Has anyone put a Lynch clip on it yet? Really thinking about it. I typically love the wire clips but after getting a couple of the Lynch clip replacements, have been really impressed with how solid feeling they are. TIA

I have both the Lynch clip and the RGT clip. The Lynch is more solid than the wire clip, but the RGT clip puts it to utter shame! The only problem with the RGT is the crazy price tag of $65+; otherwise, I’d have probably 3 more instead of just 1.

That RGT clip looks really good! Looks like it belongs there. My only complaint with the knife is the clip digs into my finger when opening the knife. Might just be my technique but I can’t seem to change it.

I’ve removed the clip from both of my PITS and they feel fantastic in the hand sans clip.

The RGT wire-replacement clips are definitely the "nicest." There are several natural-metal finishes, and many color options. Even the cheapest ones are expensive, and the expensive ones cost more than many base-model Spydercos. I find them harder to pocket than Lynch clips, but I still prefer them because they look better, and feel better in hand.

Oh, btw, the RGT did require some filing of the inside of the lugs that go in the wire clip slots of the P.I.T.S. as I show in this previous post:
