Grail spyderco
What would be the most collectible or rare spyderco ? I like to try and find the ones that are different and difficult to find or so it seems when I want one it turns out to be that way for some reason.

How about Spydutch's Foliage Green CPM D2 serrated Paramilitary? Try collecting that one.

Caly 3 Damascus for me... I passed on a opportunity to buy one years ago and still feel the sting when I think about it.

I just really want one of those M4/Titanium RIL Militaries.
No idea what the most collectible one is.

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

I don't know how rare it is but I've been eyeing off the Centofante Memory that has been sitting on one of our Aussie retailers sites since I first got into knives probably 8 years ago now.
I still check that it's there from times to time and I've watched the price tag double but it IS still there.

It's probably safe to say at this point they only exist in the hands of collectors. I can't imagine there are any left sitting in random people's collections who have no idea how rare they are. I guess that's the dream though, some sale pops up like "I have this old knife I think someone drilled a hole in the blade and spray painted black. Is it worth $20?"

Dive probe is pretty rare. There are some crazy rare things like the mosquito but they werent actually produced, they were a project and given away.

Re: Grail spyderco
i think the best collectibles would be prototypes of knives that never made it to full production. there's got to be a ton of one-offs in sal's and eric's collection that we've never seen for one reason or another, but that are perfectly good knives.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Re: Grail spyderco
One that is often mentioned when discussing a grail is the PM2 sprint with the CPM S90V/154 laminate blade and the CF. Very rare indeed.
