Website has Ark SE in stock and some other hard to find models

Came across hand-tools.com a few weeks ago and they were showing that they have some Ark SEs in stock. The website looks a bit sketchy but seems too outdated and poorly desinged to actually be a scam site. Although they do have a bunch of really bad reviews.
I called them and the woman, who sounded exactly same as the woman on their youtube product videos, assured me that if it says its in stock, it really is.
I figured I'd take the chance and placed and order for an Ark SE.
My cc got charged right away (by a different company name which made me nervous) and I received a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and here I am a little over a week later with an Ark SE in my hand for $73.50 plus shipping.

They seem to have some other not so easy to find Spydercos for normal prices.
Q Ball, D'Allara 3, Ouroboros, Lil Lum and maybe some others.

For some models, on the general Spyderco page it shows that they have stock but when you click on the specific model it says that its out so don't get too excited till you check.

Edit: Im thinking this lies somewhere between "if it's too good to be true, it probably is" and "even a broken clock is right twice a day"

Some really tempting knives there. I would normally avoid a website like that but you really have me tempted. I’m going to do some of my own research and might end up biting!

That's a great price on the increasingly rare SE Ark. I think you will love it.

I took a shot on another ARK. I used PayPal so if it doesn't go through or something I'll try to contest it.

Iirc, they are a drop shipping site that doesn’t update their inventory very often.

Probably safe to order from, but they may not be able to actually fufill the item and end up refunding if it’s no longer available from the distributor. glta

I ordered something once and waited until they sent the "Sorry, we don't have it in stock" message. Most people will end up disappointed.

Hand-tools.com has been on my dealer list for a few years now. I added them to my dealer list after seeing them mentioned here a few times in the past

I already got a shipping notice and tracking number but you know that's the pre-shipment thing where they just made the label. Also since it's Friday I probably won't see any progress on the tracking until at least Monday.

I just placed an order, and I got charged by Two Point Enterprises which I'm familiar with, and they're legit. I used to order some Gerber knives from another one of their sites gerber-tools.com many years ago, so I'm no longer worried about this being a scam. Just figured I'd chime in with my own experience with them too.

The website claims they're not drop shippers. What I find questionable is the 24 $45 Hap 40 Ladybugs that they show in stock.

Domain names can get taken over by shady individuals so even if you used a site in the past that doesn't mean it's still legit.

Hope it works out for everyone. I would love to get one of those Ladybugs if it does.

Tracking says mine arrived at Baton Rouge LA processing center at 10:39am this morning, so unless they're mailing me some bogus package it certainly seems legit.

I may get one after I see you guys getting it with no problems.
