Pleased to see these showing back up!
Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

I think they've been out of stock at most places since last year.
Now all those fisherman that have dropped theirs in the ocean can replace it! :beaming-face

I believe the only thing different from the previous one is they changed the FRN to green from yellow.

Yes and they gave them “new” model numbers for the LC200N Green FRN while reserving the “old” model numbers for the MagnaCut Yellow FRN.

“The original Native 5 Lightweight Salt featured an ultra-corrosion- resistant LC200N blade and a bright yellow handle. To make it consistent with the color theme we have established with our other LC200N-bladed lightweight Salt folders, we have changed its handle color to high-visibility green. All other aspects of this high-performance knife are faithful to the original, including a full-flat-ground LC200N blade, a high-strength back lock mechanism, a linerless fiberglass- reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle with non-slip Bi-Directional Texturing, and a fully configurable four-position pocket clip. Available in both PlainEdge and SpyderEdge configurations, this lightweight tool delivers heavyweight cutting performance.”

Based on my internet searches it "appears" that KnifeJoy is the only place these Green Handled Natives are "in stock". Please correct me if I am wrong but is this just a way to get pre-orders for these knives. If so is there anyplace on the order page that states so? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

It's not a pre-order. They're in stock, although only 1 plain edge left, as of the time I type this.

I wouldn't worry if you don't get one from there though. They're not the only one that will have them, just the first

I concur with Giygas.
Sometimes dealers make mistakes. It happens. But I haven't heard anybody complain that KnifeJoy has taken an order for a knife they don't have in their possession. I wouldn't hesitate to order it from them.

I ordered one from Knifejoy yesterday and got a tracking number this morning.

Give this big model a wire clip, PE & SE, and call it the Native Chef.
