Color should be the deciding factor here, since I'm willing to bet you wouldn't notice a difference in use or sharpening between the two steels. They're quite similar.
Good point, I do indeed like the orange with DLC.

Just received my DLC S30V version and yeah, it is my favorite PM2 and Wharncliffe. Debating purchasing the XHP DLC or another of the same, there will be two as I would miss this if it got lost.

@Cutleryshoppe, If you make available a Wharncliffe Military 2 I will commit to purchasing 2 of them.

Thank you

Carrying the satin one to remind me that I don't really need the DLC variant that dropped today.

Though if it's still around next month, who knows :smlling-eyes

Looks amazing, thanks for sharing! This is the only M/PM that has a draw on me, like a puppy looking me in the eyes trying to manipulate me into taking it home.

Beautiful lines and very complementary to a Spyderhawk. That native Chief in orange would complete that lil collection to a T.

I was gifted the xhp satin warnie for Christmas. This might be my favorite work knife. I usually rotate my pm2 standard s30v blade and cutlery shop hap40 endura for a plain edge blade, paired with a full serrated pac salt 2. The blade profile and length are perfect on this pm2. I would probably buy two of a serrated version.

The price has dropped to $169 on these.

They are really nice. I'd get one if I didn't already own one.

I have been eyeing this for the past few days. I pulled the trigger on it in case you bringing attention to it causes it to sell out. How has it stayed in stock for so long?
