The new Native III lightweight folder is another case in point. With a black fiberglass nylon handle that is molded three-dimensionally, it fills the hand offering uncommon ergonomic comfort. A cluster of textured spots and hollows provide positioning points for the fingers and palm, affording serious gripping potential. Tapered to a spear-point shape, the blade is made of a high-carbon, moly steel called VG-10 and is 3-1/8" (79mm) long. A swedge grind at the top of the blade lessens overall weight and sleekly accomodates the one-hand-open hole. Textured ridges (much like non-sharpened serrations) run along the blade's spine holding the thumb slip-resistant during cutting. To accomodate both left/right handed users there's a contoured reversible wire clip. The Native III is available fully PlainEdged or mostly serrated in a 25/75 configuration. A Boye Detent cutout in the lock release is an additional safety feature (for those who can grip the knife hard enough to inadvertently release the blade lock during use).
Only with a plain edge and blue scales.

tobii3,
If you can't get through the SFO and such, let me know. I could help.

alan2112, I don't think tobii3 would have access to the tan native. I thought it was an Iraqi Freedom and he's in Afganistan (Glad I'm in either place).

Hi All,

Boxer, I believe they are engraving them as requests are submitted so I can give you a final number that were engraved after everyone who wants one places their order.

They are $69.95 plus shipping. Contact SFO by phone 800-828-1925 or 303-279-8613 if possible or email as a second method SFO@spyderco.com.

Tobii- called SFO for you and then shot you over an email. When you can email me your information I'll walk your order through. Send me your mailing address as well jlaituri@spyderco.com. My hat is off to you, thank you and stay safe over there buddy!
