XL StretchHawk Salt???

Post by VooDooChild »

Hey, here is a crazy idea.
We have pretty much all been wanting a new SpyderHawk 2 salt since the original got discontinued.

What if, instead of a SpyderHawk 2 salt based on the Pacific Salt 2 handle, Spyderco did an XL "StretchHawk" Salt based on the Stretch XL handle with a 50/50 choil? Or better yet why not both.

(Assuming that this could be done that is.)

Just throwing that out there. Curious to here what others think.

Full disclosure, I have not handled a Stretch XL yet so I am on the fence, but I thought the idea was cool.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea, but the SpyderHawk with a few updates to match the improvements of newer knives would be a perfect design. It’s pretty close to a handle forward design like the Rockjumper too and that is what I usually prefer.
