My EDC stays drudgingly the same: Rescue 93mm CE LF WB, SS cricket PE in RF pocket (not clipped) during work hours. In my LF pocket I carry a Leatherman Micra (scissors). After work and in the car, add Gunting PE in sheath on my right hip.

On the weekends, and sometimes in the eve I put a Leatherman Wave and mini maglite on. With a new house, I'm constantly using the Wave.

It's hard for me to detour from this routine because the knives I carry are purpose-driven. I like to have both PE and SE blades available, plus a sheeple-friendly piece (the cricket). Occassionally I'll rotate my PE Vesuvius in RF WB, but only if I'm not carrying the Gunting (when I'm beltless). My SE Native and Merlin just don't get carried.

In the last few weeks my EDC rotation has been my Endura PE in my FL pocket and my Emerson Karambit in my RF and in any pocket that it fits my PE Dodo. Sometimes the Kiwi subs in for the Dodo. I have been thinking about going into my collection and exchanging a new(old) Spydie every month. Seeing as I bought lots of knives in a short amount of time, some I never really got the chance to use. Might start that in the new year....???? Take Care!

IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE KNIFE YOU LOVE IT IS HARDER TO DECIDE ON WHICH ONE TO CARRY. A LOT WILL DEPEND ON YOUR CLOTHING. IF YOU HAVE JUST ONE, THEN THE CHOICE IS OBVIOUS!!

i typically carry my merlin. cuts everything i see with aplomb. i'll probably carry my new (used, but i picked one up for 20 bucks) endura some, but the legality may be iffy here in NC, and the merlin doesn't draw too much trouble. i have a dragonfly that does a fine job as well, but it has been well-beaten over time.

I tend to stick with a knife that works for me for a long period of time. Presently that knife is a Standard SE. I do, however continue to buy more knives and guns simply because I want them. Much like my ex-wife and my fiance continue to buy more dresses and shoes. My excuse has alway been that I can usually re-sell my knives and guns for at least what I paid for them, which I continue to do and then usually regret later. Not true of dresses and shoes. They usually end up at Goodwill. We do have to live with these women so it is good to have a relation with no conflict and some understanding. I think that most of this post has nothing to do with EDC but anyway...

I always carry a PE 440V Military in my right front pocket and a Gerber multitool on my belt. The knife in my rear right pocket varies. Usually it's a Chinook, Starmate or an Endura. There is a BM 730 in my back pocket now.

Some days I might add a fixed blade on my belt (horizontal carry, usually a Ronin) or a larger blade for IWB carry. (Perrin or Temperance) It really depends on where I'm going.

I just wanted to revisit the issue of carrying the same knife, or at least a similar knife, in the same place all the time for EDC. A story in a local weekly newpaper concerns a woman whose hair was caught in a lathe, with the result that she was scalped and one of her ears was mangled. Being pulled into machinery by one's hair or clothing in such a manner is not all that uncommon. Another big hazard would be such things as leashes, lines, ropes, etc. found in everyday life in certain activities. The ability to make a quick cut can save a body part from injury, or even save a life. I am not ridiculing carrying a variety of knives, because I do so, but my EDC does not change unless I go to a place where it is not legal to carry it.
