Hmmmm, I'm torn. Shaman is literally on my list. I like S90v, but kind of saw my first Shaman having a tool steel.... We'll see.

So I’m in the camp of loving micarta but really don’t love tool steel. All my tool steel will rust within minutes of receiving the knife.

This exclusive checks all the boxes of a heavy user for me. I LOVE S90V, the Shaman and micarta, what more could make this better?!

I remember Sal saying something along the lines of the Shaman being a "Sal design" or in other words something he would want and wasn't sure if others would like it. I don't think any of them expected it to be such a success but I personally think it's his best choiled design.

I'm going to pass on this one. I slept on it last night and it just is not calling to me. The very horrible photos of the product do not help. Maybe a different color on the burlap? I don't know what it is exactly that I don't like.

In the past the burlap micarta would have made me scramble to grab one, but since I have the Zwear one already I see no reason. If you don't have one and have been waiting to get the the right one, this just might be the right one.

Have there been burlap micarta knifes before from Spyderco? Can anyone share their observations on the differences between burlap and say the micarta on the PM2 and the Shaman Z wear on a year or so ago.
