Saw this on fb, wonder how many were “lost” and what dealers didn’t get their allocations.

That is incredibly shady. Spyderco should look into that…

Really hard for me to use any other knife right now. I agree it's such a great design and the execution on mine is really good.

I never saw one knife being my default go to. But I may be wrong now. Need to order a Lynch clip next.

Did some PITS anodizing. Started with a dark blue to bronze fade and then drew in some light blue/silvery lines and patterns. Really happy with the results.

Relaxing and carving some sticks today. Such a comfortable knife in hand. It’s a pleasure to use.

That's beautiful anodizing. You take custom work? I'd love to have mine anodized in a scale pattern...

Re: 2022 P.I.T.S Sprint!
Thanks! No I haven’t ever done it for anyone else. Just tinker with my own stuff. If I mess up my own, I’m the only one upset
This is only my second knife I’ve done it one, hoping to figure out some new techniques and patterns.
The first time I did this one was on accident. I saw someone use paper over the knife scales and a pin to add the colors. But I used a paper towel and the bumps caused the patterns to show up. Basically where the paper towel was laying flat, carried the current, and when it raised up, it moved the current away from the scales.
I’ve also realized using daisy chained 9volt batteries, like I’ve been doing, isn’t consistent with the voltage. I need to pick up a power supply to really get consistent results. Plus I could set the voltage to an exact number instead of increments of 9 volts.
