I know the original used a different spring, and that the original spring was more than a little finicky. I wouldn't try that one myself, but they are your knives, not mine. The HH Exclusive I have no experience with.

Hey bud.

I have done a LOT of blade swaps to different sets of standard and non-standard scales. S30v, CTSBD1, LC200N, BD1 and s110v. Although they all differ slightly over the years, they have all so far been interchangeable.

That is not a solid gold guarantee though.

I hope that is of help.

Please see my post about UKPK blade swaps in this thread (I’m too lazy to rewrite it!):

viewtopic.php?t=86111

The ability to do blade swaps depends on the generation(s) of the UKPKs you’re planning to swap. There were a number of design changes between the older G10/Ti/CF models and the newer FRN and Heinnie Haynes red G10 variant. Hope this helps. Cheers, Radioactive

Hi Mark
even between the original models, there were slight differences, as I swapped three around, with CF scales that I made.

The leading edge of the lock bar would protude slightly, or with another swap would be lower, just a tad.
There would have been hand finishing of each model, which would account for the differences.

I am guessing that diff gens would be even more of an issue to solve?
