Lost screw

#1

Post by AbleEye »

Sorry if this is an oft repeated topic. My search didn't turn up much..

So my Tenacious had a screw back out and get lost somewhere. How can I get a new one? I don't really want to send the whole knife in for warranty. Is there a simpler solution?

Dear Able Eye:

Welcome to the Spyderco Forum.

Your best course of action is to take a clear cell phone photo of your knife pointing to the missing screw and email it to customerservice@spyderco.com asking them to send you a replacement.

Stay safe,

Mike

I’ve done what Michael recommended, send a picture in an email, and received a pivot screw for my ladybug.

I just sent an email and pic myself for a Ladybug Salt. I had called months ago about it but I guess it was lost in the shuffle.

I found a form specifically for lost screws under "contact us" on their website. Haven't heard back from yet. If I don't by this weekend I will also try the picture route.

Thanks guys.

Figured I'd bump this, I got my screw earlier this week/late last week I think it was, don't remember the day but I did get it. Such a tiny thing, probably could have bought 100 of them for the cost in postage to mail it to me.
