First time I thought about using folding knife for self defense from this clipit brochure many moons ago.

It seems the classic Police model was selected as the main knife used for the demos.

I remember reading somewhere (possibly in the book The Working Folding Knife by Steven Dick) sometime back in the 90s about Erik Remmen's Safari Clipit Course favoring the Delica for self-defense during the actual classes.

Yes, it was the Delicas used for those classes, I found this about someone who attended the Clip-It Class
