Might be cool to give it a phantom lock, then it could be called the MeercatJimbo.

Hi Ferruginous,

Welcome to our forum.

Thanks Sal.

I really enjoy using your knives. They just cut (and carry and lock and handle) so very well. I really appreciate what you've done over the years.

Hi Mike, Sal,

This is an awesome design and would be a perfect complement to the Lil Native. And I love Lil Natives and re-sized knives like the Para 3. If I could just make a request - could we give the handles a bit more chamfering? I always loved Seki G10s for their amazing chamfers - I think it makes a whole world of difference in user comfort.

Thanks for sharing cjk, FFG sounds awesome. Do you remember what steel the prototype came in?

Pretty sure it was marked S30V.
Yep, it was S30V.

I have absolutely no need for a self-defence knife but I'm still gotta get my hands on a Microjimbo 😎

Good because it is more of an EDC variation of a SD model that was based on utility knife.

The action should be better than the lil native. The blafe is too light there.

I only have the yojimbo trainer and here the spydiehole is not good to access - too small and the scales are in the way.

I have high hopes in the micro.

Me too. I'm still going to call it the Yominbo regardless of what it says on the box. :cheap-sunglasses

Curious how this compares against the lil native wharncliffe. I want a small wharncliffe with compression lock. Wonder how long until both models are out?

Driving this back to the front page to keep this in the hearts and minds at Spyderco. I was hoping we would see a little pre-release pre-announcement PR on this guy as a holiday surprise?

If the chamfering is that good, count me in! I wish the lil Native had that kind of pronounced chamfering.

At first glance I thought it was an eye-sore even though I knew that if Mr. Janich designed it, it would do what it is supposed to. But it is already growing on me. The part about it being so small it would be legal in most places is a good enough reason for me.
