they have the same nub on the yojumbo. i just learned to move my finger out of the way before the blade fully closes.

Same here. The first couple times I opened and closed the Shaman it got me, but after that my finger just moved to the part of the lock bar where I naturally moved my finger before it got hit. Had the same experience when my S9V Yojumbo showed up. On the Shaman I do like having the nub so I have less of a chance of my finger slipping onto the blade on a heavy cut and/or if my hands are wet.
