I originally joined here in 2004, posted maybe a few times, then went away for around 14 years, barely even coming here to browse during that time. I didn't really start coming here and participating until around 2018.

Wow. That’s a lot. We couldn’t even all fit in the United Center for a Bulls game.
Currently, there's not that many Bulls fans. So it's a non-issue

Welcome to all the new members ^^
I myself still consider that I am a new-ish member.

The fact that a forum is still this active in 2022, and with a good spirit, is just crazy. That is marvelous news to me since this is the place I'll go to if I want human interaction on the internet ;)
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

With Sal at the helm, this is as close as I get to religion.

I thought we were a cult. You mean I am wearing this hooded robe, genuflecting toward Golden, and sacrificing the neighbor's cats for nothing?

There's still a few of the old guys/gals from about 2004 to 2010 ...

Hey! I resemble that remark. I'm not old! Besides, it's like I heard Herbert Hoover say on the radio once: "You're never as old as you forgot that you think you used to be." Or something like that, I don't quite recollect. But the point I'm making is: you can't beat a slipjoint Stockman's knife from the Sears catalog for versatility.

Yeah if it's even that many. When I check the Birthday lists every other day I check out many of these people and most of them haven't posted in over 7 to 10 years many of them.

It's one thing to have that many signing up and I'm glad to hear that more people have joined. But you are probably very accurate with the 300 total. Maybe slightly more if you include the periodic lurkers. Also there are so many that are only occasional visitors too.

Is it me or did the forum formatting change slightly. I always browse on my phone, and today it looks wider, and the letters are smaller.

Edit.. looks normal again. Weird.

Nine posts in almost 19 years - that made me curious and I looked it up and found to my great surprise that 4 posts were written in 2023 and 1 post in 2022 ... it seems to me that someone is now getting garrulous :grin-smiling-eyes
