I don't quite understand: Does this thread mean: Knives that were offered in 2022, that you'd like to see in a variant in 2023?

I'm just trying to figure out if I can vote from the upcoming Caly LW in this thread...?
Simple! Things you can think of in 2022 that could possibly become a reality in 2023 …. Or beyond

Knives you would like to see become available in 2023: (we know it takes a year or so to get in the production run)

List up to 5 max (don’t want to overload) and in order of priority if you can.

This is primarily to provide a snapshot of the forum pulse on future knives.

I know we all have varied interest when it comes to knives so be selfish and think in terms of YOUR interests no matter how off center they may be.

I’ll go ahead and start this:

1) DLT Exclusive Delica 4 Cruwear Wharncliffe Dark Purple FRN or Purple/Black Zome FRN

2) DLT Exclusive Delica 4 Cruwear FFG PE Dark Purple FRN or Purple/Black Zome FRN

3) Standard Production intermediate size Native (tentatively referred to here as the Native Elder) in G10 to start with LW to follow. Open to assorted colors and mid grade or better steels.

4) standard production or sprint UKPK in G10. Open to assorted colors and mid grade or better steels

5) reserved for future

1. Native Chief Salt. G10 and LC200N PE works for me.

2. Street Beat in satin M4 and green canvas micarta scales

3. Stretch XL Salt. FRN & LC200N should work here.

4. Swicks

Honestly don't need a fifth. These four models come out and I could be done buying Spydies for quite some time.

One of these, in this order:

1. Sage 4
2. Caly 3 or 3.5 (or 3.25 ;) )
3. Chaparral

In a bolstered configuration of micarta / titanium, micarta / CF, or something along those lines.

I know this falls short, but to get the idea….

PS: I’d also be plenty happy just finding a sage 4 ironwood… sigh….

1.) Para 3 lightweight Salt, preferably in bright green with CPM Magnacut blade. I have to imagine this is coming, just a matter of when.
2.) Para 3 G-10 with a wharncliffe blade, preferably in forest green G-10
3.) Para 3 “lightweight” with anodized aluminum handles, sorta similar to the recent bladehq PM2s, only patterned after the lightweight para 3 with its wire clip and more reasonably located and sized lanyard hole. Less pocket shredding design on the scales than on the bhq pm2s. Green preferred, at least by me. :winking-tongue
4.) Variants of the Brouwer, preferably blade steel and G-10 side scale differences. An all titanium scaled one would be cool. A green anodized aluminum show side scale with a different blade steel (M4, XHP, or 20CV) would be neat.
5.) micro-Yojimbo (Yominbo?), preferably in forest green G-10.

You beat me to the punch on this. I am a simple person, and I simply want the Para 3 to get that aluminum scale, "Cosmic Arc" lightweight treatment - just like the BladeHQ PM2 sprint. Not picky about the steel, why not Magnacut since this is a wishlist. The scales could be matte anodized to differentiate from the shinier PM2 scales. Same knife, 4 colors:

1. Loud pink (no pastels, neon and face-melting please)
2. Turquoise
3. Lavender
4. how about OD and Cruwear for John Ryan
5. And the new Chris Claycomb bushcraft knife

1. Wharncliffe Dragonfly in a better stainless steel.

2-5. Any random Byrd or Spyderco models in 8Cr13Mov upgraded to 9Cr18Mov or 14C28N. (Of course, the price would have to make sense.) This would have the same effect on me as releasing four totally new knives, as it would bump four existing models up into the realm of actual EDC consideration for the first time.

I know they're exploring upgrades. My big wish here is that Spyderco actually gets there by the start of 2023. If they plan it right, I could have a big Spyderco Christmas in 2022!
