Maybe this will convince DLT to make a DLC / brown yojumbo to match the yojimbo.

Beautiful beast of a blade.
It really is! I love that so many of Spyderco's beasts use s90v.

It has a very similar overall profile to one of my all-time favorite (and most used) knives, but I was always hesitant to get one because it was absolutely impossible fo me to get a comfortable grip on the yojimbo 2.

Couldn't say no to s90v and carbon fiber, especially considering it was only ~10% over the base model.

EDIT: Yojumbo with the "other":

Thats an R&H Coba.

How does it feel now that you have it's bigger brother in hand ?
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Thanks for posting those images. Here is a mod I am considering. Opening up the front area to have a two finger scallop, cutting off that corner of the blade to not get bumped on closure of the compression lock tab area, taking out the rear peak for more of a neutral rear handle portion.

The part of the blade is more towards the edge.

I'm debating if I want to sand down the hump in the middle. It's not a difficult mod I'm just not sure if it really matters in use.

Awesome knife, but the detent is strong with one! I might have to take out the second finger bump though.

will know in a few days how my hands fit but the first peak is important for grip being the strongest so I was thinking making room forward of the first peak by the pivot.

That would work too, but it seems like it would be a lot harder to look good.

I just wanted to say thank you to Spyderco and the head honchos there for not only coming out with this knife, but making a jumbo version and then the cherry on top, making a premium version of the jumbo. I love Spyderco!!!!!!

Managed to snag one as well, thanks for the heads up. Was getting a bit scared I may have missed out entirely since a lot of places have gone silent
