Like Watu, but cooler.
Sadly, this must be done to prevent poachers from killing these proud, beautiful knives for their horn which is used in traditional Eastern medicine.

I see how it's not for everybody, but it's cool to me, especially after watching videos on it. Kinda like the danger pickle (bombshell), dodo etc

Looks well made. Appears to be a "boy NInja" type and for 400 beans I'll stick with my CRK's. I don't really like little knives.

In reading the Spyderco Byte it mentioned the Stovepipe/Bill the Butcher design being influenced by Civil War Era folding razors with the large scallop on the front for ease of opening by war veterans that had limited mobility.

My Uncle was very active in the Civil War Reenactment circles, and was a member of the 'Sons of the Union'. When he passed one of the things I inherited from him was the small razor folder he carried during his reenactments. I thought I'd share some pics of it.

Hi, nice knife.
I now see the "point" of the scalloped end of the blade for ease of opening.
Thanks for the info and pictures.

Why so much?

$420 = €374 + 20% VAT = €449

I checked Lamnia and a PM2 S45VN/G-10 shipped from Finland to Austria (Europe) is €192.58 which includes the 20% VAT and converted comes to $216.19. Over here in the U.S. that same PM2 is $171.50 so in effect the prices in Europe are about 26% higher.

Holy moly! A PM2 S45VN/G-10 is A$512.95 which converted becomes $362.30! That’s more than twice what it is in the U.S. Nuts!

It’s disgraceful, mate.

I mean it's an awful situation, but your comment is hilarious as always.
