these pictures are very helpful! from the pictures i've seen so far, the stretch xl looked like it would be much bigger than the stretch. that looks like the perfect amount of increase. and among the other larger models, the stretch definitely looks to be the one i'd like the most.

Yeah, the handle isn't much longer than the Stretch 2 but the blade sure is.

Oddly, I didn't care much for the SS Stretch 2 but instantly liked the XL.

Uhhhhnnnn...not quite ready to pull the trigger. Besides, the chamber is empty after too many recent purchases! No-brainer eventually, though. Looks like the winner everyone expected. I can hardly wait to see some reports. Can hardly wait for the SE and Salt versions, too.

Shoved a bunch of spydies in my knife roll. I'll take comparison shots on my lunch break and get my thread started.

This thing is ground very thin behind the edge, should have excellent cutting performance! Makes the Millies blade feel fat.

I’m not sure this is the knife for me, but I am very curious about the innards and what this (perhaps) portends for the Seki lineup.

I'm very interested in how close the handle length looks on the Stretch XL compared to the Native Chief in the photos posted so far. This may encourage me to get a Chief out for some comparison.

*sigh* I do have a $20 gift card for DLT. Plus points. I guess I can probably buy one when they come in.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

BladeOps... https://bladeops.com/spyderco-stretch-2 ... ack-knife/
ok them ive heard of. ordered!

ps - excited to try the bg10 blade steel, ive only tried bg42 :rofl
Wow, I'm never doing business with bladeops again.

When I checked out I specifically unchecked "send me marketing emails."

I still got them.

I clicked the unsubscribe link, AND I emailed their customer support asking them to stop.

Still got them.

There's so many vendors that will respect their customers wishes better than Bladeops. Done with them.

Extremely disheartening to see the handle is virtually the same size as the Stretch 2..

Maybe it’s time I pull the trigger on a P4 after all.

It's a short list of knives that offer this much handle real estate while still feeling slim in the pocket and practical to EDC.
