Based on that picture, it would have to be longer closed, right?

I don´t think so!

- In that pic (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=91537&start=400#p1626359) the knife below the Stretch XL is an Endura
- The Endura has basically the same closed length as Stretch XL and Pac Salt (Spydercos specs even give the Endura 1mm more, so closed 127 mm, Stretch XL and Pac Salt 126 mm)
- Now compare the length of the Endura handle to that of the XL handle...for me they are they same (In the pic the knives are not placed totally aligned handle end to handle end, the Endura sticks a hair more out in the back, the XL on the front end of the handle, but overall they are of the same handle length).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

It must be late, but I'm sure the knife below the Stretch XL is not an Endura. Anyway, I pulled out the Reveal, and the Pac Salt and Stretch XL are indeed close in size, as I originally thought. I was surprised at the difference in the picture, but it might be just perspective.

Then we agree to disagree, no problem. :smiling-cheeks

I am certain it actually is an Endura... and don't know what else it could be?

Here’s a pic for size reference.
Looks like starting from the top:
- Pac Salt 2
- Police 4 LW
- Stretch 2 XL
- Endura (KnifeJoy Exclusive with Damascus)
- Jeff

Most definitely correct. I thought some people may still want to see it compared to the Endura

Just received my SE Stretch XL. The blade is very minimally off center (don't care) and the lock bar stands proud by maybe half a millimeter both open and closed (again, not an issue for me). Other than that, everything is as it should be. Looking forward to using it.

Now how does it (the SE) cut? :smirk

... and has anyone else an SE version yet and could share some first impressions?

That picture I think sold me. The Endura handle just doesn't do it for me. Love the Stretch 2 handle so this actually has a chance of feeling good in my hand. Now just need it in a Salt.

Nearly 3½" of serrated goodness, ground thin, with a decent amount of belly and a handle that's comfortable in my hand, all in a package light enough to drop into my sweatpants pocket? What's not to like?

That's how I see it too, but just askin'. Hadn't heard much about it since it dropped, as opposed to the PE. Probably because everyone knows by now what to expect from VG-10 SpyderEdge.

Amazon has them on sale for $99. Mine is on its way. :cheap-sunglasses

I saw that on Amazon, but while it’s listed on Amazon, it’s coming directly from Optics Nation 1. They have a 90% rating. Decided to pass on that.

Such an awesome knife! I’m really excited to own one…holding out for the Salt though. I’d love a SE Salt model with black handle. Hope that’s going to be an option.
