I've never really understood the whole folding cleaver thing but I have to admit, the Stovepipe is intriguing. Then I look at the closed shape and price and it's probably a no for me
The closed shape of the Stovepipe is a little bit on the Filipino (((( NO not pun-yoh, I'm looking for the style that is....)))) style. It's a striking weapon if you want it to be when closed.
I love the S90V Yojumbo. 4 inches of blade, and as Janich has pointed out, it's a slicing machine. I wanted the Yojumbo, but held out hope for an S90V version and there it is. I'd like to buy 1 for my brother, but my brother would more likely nag me for a Native XL.
It's great to see ffg wharncliffe byrds! I will definitely get more that one model from this series. Stretch XL in SE also caught my attention (although I'd prefer to see Police 4 lightweight get the teeth).
I'm mostly excited about the Damasteel urban and very glad that it's going to have a 2.5 inch blade. I work at a university and can only carry a non locking blade 2.5 inches or less. So I guess I have a new work knife :)
Been waiting for the Damasteel Urban (well actually the UKPK but that one isn't happening). Now that I see it, I don’t know if I want it. The Ivory G10 is like 3 classes below the beautiful blade. Disappointing.....
I think it looks nice. I bet it take just about any color dye though. I'd never pass on Damasteel Spydie.

I imagine the Stovepipe will be a tough sell at $420 MAP, perhaps also the Urban sprint at $280 MAP.
The real eyebrow raiser for me though is the Carter Minarai series. The gyuto in BD1N with polypropylene handles for $270 MSRP/$229.5 MAP? You can get a handmade gyuto with arguably better materials from Japan for that.
I really want that Urban. I hope I can get one (and have the money when it is released!). The Stretch XL is a must buy for me. I will get one, for sure. I like the Straight Spine Stretch and this one will do away with the need for any of the other larger folders. I also like the Ti Canteen Cup, but at $600 it is too rich for my blood.

I'm seeing $80 MSRP for the Ti Cup in the price guide. I'm hoping that's correct.
I'm wondering how big it is at 11 oz of fluid. Will the old army canteens fit in it ?
I had the original a lifetime ago and it seemed like more than 11 oz, and you could cook with it.
Ti Canteen Cup
Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) Webfoot
Stretch2 XL (or should I wait for the K390 ?)
S90V CF Yojumbo (first YoBo)
MT32P Mule: laminated san mai (three-layer) construction using a central core of SRS13
clad with SUS405.

You are right! I have no idea what I looked at that was $600.

11oz is very small. a can of soda is 12oz, so i'm guessing the standard canteen is not fitting. this thing looks like more of a novelty than a useful piece of gear. maybe there's a smaller flask that will nest in it like a canteen.
Harpy SS anyone? This whole catalog is proof once more that Spyderco is very much in tune with their customer base...

Like the design of the Ti cup, I'd have to see what it is designed to work with - I think a standard GI canteen cup in this style is closer to 24oz.
Looking forward to the Stretch 2 XL, the S90 Yojimbo 2XL, the SE Cara Cara wharnie, the SRS13 Mule, the Webfoot (looks like a premium version of the byrd Duckbill) and the hats.
the new Carter series looks like it's about half the price of other versions. I bet they're really nice, I hope more lower-priced kitchen knives get made, if I get to try these and fall in love then I guess I'll end up buying them.
For the Mules, Reveal 9 lists both of these: MT32P - SRS13 steel w/ SUS405 cladding, already listed on site as available soon to order. MT35P - MagnaCut steel, not listed on site at all, but I think a sprint of this already released last Nov ‘21. Based on it showing in the ‘22 release #9, do fans think it will be issued again soon?

Welcome to the forum!
I know Sal already answered your question but I will add that the Magnacut Mule listing in the reveal notes that it was only listed in the reveal for reference. “The MT35P was revealed digitally in December 2021 and is completely sold out. It is listed here for reference only.”
