I imagine the Stovepipe will be a tough sell at $420 MAP, perhaps also the Urban sprint at $280 MAP.

The real eyebrow raiser for me though is the Carter Minarai series. The gyuto in BD1N with polypropylene handles for $270 MSRP/$229.5 MAP? You can get a handmade gyuto with arguably better materials from Japan for that.

I like the Stovepipe. I hope it's less than $200, but I doubt it. Probably closer to 300.....

Hmmmm... Stretch xl, Yojumbo sprint.... nice. Good times ahead. But I'm most interested in damasteel urban. Because it's UK legal. I might just buy 2 or 3. Just in case. Because definitely at least one will be a everyday user. Just wondering about the price. And when it comes out. If I have more time I'll plan better.
Edit: I just saw the price.... 400$ MSRP.
Oh well... I guess it's gonna be only one... safe queen...
Still better than nothing.

New stretch XL with FRN looks perfect for lightweight hiking, great size for only 2.7 oz of weight.

Only thing of interest was the Travel-Ti canteen cup.....but it's double-walled titanium. Should have been single wall for hiking/camping. Double-wall explodes if used over a fire. The original GI canteen/cup was great for a backpacking cook set.

Now that I’ve taken some time to pick my jaw up off the floor after seeing the Stovepipe…

I will most definitely be getting one or two of those Spyderco Travel-Ti cups! That’s a cool surprise. The Webfoot Sharpener too, thats another cool surprise.

The Stretch 2 XL looks like a natural! Like it was meant to be.

I like seeing the FRN Persistence Lightweights. Makes me hope the Ambitious might be working its way towards FRN soon too.

Lastly, that G10 Urban sprint run is a very nice looking knife! Depending on when that one drops, I may be very tempted by it.

I really wanted a Damasteel Spydie. Really alot. I would even find a way to like the ivory G10. But not at this price. Sorry, but no.

Even at $420 MAP, I have a feeling the Stovepipe will be hard to keep in stock at first! There is a lot of machine time in that knife, it’s going to be an impressive piece. There was definitely some sticker shock for me but I trust that it will be worth the cost.

The scales are “crowned” / “contoured” so they won’t just be flat titanium slabs and there is even some milling required on the blade itself. It also has a custom machined clip, which of course adds to the cost. I’m definitely excited for this one.

Stovepipe has a prybar on the spine or no? Stretch XL linerless is really cool. MSRP on the Urban is $400 😳

Wow! I definitely did not see Spyderco jumping on the overbuilt cleaver fad with the Stovepipe... admittedly, I actually kind of like it, despite its looking like it will be an atrocious pocket hog.. at $400+ though, that's a big ol "nope!" out of me..

Definitely in on the Stretch XL though! And that Webfoot looks awesome with the base! I wonder if they'll sell just the base, for use with the Goldenstone? That would be cool..

The Urban is very nice, but the price is :winking-tongue
The Stretch is also cool, i whised it was Spy27/blue scales.
The stovepipe is cool but the price is sick (sorry for saying that).

I like this new country marks, didn't realize them at the catalog.

I've never really understood the whole folding cleaver thing but I have to admit, the Stovepipe is intriguing. Then I look at the closed shape and price and it's probably a no for me

The Stovepipe CPM-20CV Stonewashed Blade Stonewashed Titanium R.I.L. C260TIP (Taiwan) for $420.00 is really nice even though it's pricier, heavier, wider and thicker than I'd like. What's notable is that it has a nice heavy stonewashed finish all over, machined titanium clip, titanium backspacer, no stupid lanyard hole and no ugly extra clip holes all over the place (just tip-up right-side carry).

I must be a little on the slow side today...but I, for the life of me can't figure out how you would use that Webfoot haha. I've been looking at it for like 5 minutes and I'm confused :spiral-eyes
