I thought Eric announced this at the shot show last year. So does it still have to show up in a reveal before there is a chance to get one?

that kind of announcement is unofficial. just like the military 2 that came out of nowhere, it still needs to be officially revealed. hopefully we'll see it in the next reveal and it'll soon follow into my hand.

Like LB says those are more like official Rumors then they are a Reveal. There is never a real time frame as long as there isn’t an official reveal of the knife around and even then the time frame can get out of hand some times. So its best to just be patient i guess.

Funny how 'translucent' FRCP polarizes folks. I love the stuff and would love to see more of it in darn near any color. I currently have the M2 LW in blue BD1N and green 20CV. Great sunny day, outside carry knives.
i'm not anti-translucent, but translucent yellow sounds really ugly to me. it might be a problem putting out a translucent yellow right now with all the ultem craze too.
I’m curious if all of the FRCP Manix 2s are translucent to some degree or are the Black and Cobalt Blue and some other color variants totally opaque?

I think a slightly translucent black or really dark brown would be cool in the sense that it might have a “faux horn” vibe.

Now I’m also curious about the ways something like the rit dye affects how much light passes through the scales?

My burnt orange Manix LW handle is not translucent at all and my black LW was neither.

Also had the definitely translucent blue one, and liked that feature a lot . Would not want ALL of my Spydies come in translucent, but it is really cool to have some or at least one imo.

But I agree with Ladybug: Yellow is perhaps one of the "least good" colors for translucent.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Thank you, that’s good to know.
I agree that yellow is probably not the best for a translucent Manix.
I do otherwise like yellow, however.

I'd have no complaints with an opaque yellow LW MagnaManix. (Yeah, I know, already posted earlier. Worth a second look, says I.) Looks cheerful to me!
