if you just really want a manix, i wouldn't wait for this one. i'd get a different model like the spy27 while i waited. if you really want this manix, you might want to get comfortable.
I ordered one last week and it should be delivered today. :cheap-sunglasses

I really want a Manix XL G10 magnacut :smiling-heart-eyes

apparently, it's confirmed that the native salt in magnacut is out. hopefully that means they've sorted out whatever they needed to sort out for magnacut and maybe this manix will be in the upcoming reveal. time to rekindle that excitement!

i heard a rumor somewhere that ladybug93 might be getting a magnacut m2lw prototype for testing. did anyone else hear that?

on a more serious note, the microjimbo hasn't been officially revealed, but we've seen it multiple times now, and spyderco is saying they want to get it out by the end of this year. that doesn't make me as hopeful that we'll see the magnacut m2lw any time soon, since we've only had a verbal hint at its existence. i guess i'm not in a huge hurry for this knife, but i really am looking forward to it.

Sure enough! There have been many hints at it around the forum. I knew the Glessers we're amazing and unique individuals. Full of gratitude and loyalty, but this takes the cake. To allow a forum member and biggest proponent of this knife and opportunity to test drive it before anyone else is simply astonishing. Well done Spyderco! Look forward to your thoughts on it LB. The Glessers will not disappoint.

A MagnaCut Manix LW would be appreciated...with more so than without a screw construction:>)

I am perhaps a bit known already for not needing total corrosion resistance in my Spydies, but MC obviously has other great properties apart from that too.

But what I'd really hope: That this will come in full SE too, and be a lightweight... (no idea why there still is no fully serrated Manix 2 LW, and to my knowledge has only been one version in G10 (hollow ground and probably almost impossible to get anymore).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Wait……..WHAT? If true then well deserved cause LB is the reason I even thought about getting one. No telling how many others were influenced by him…it’s now my favorite edc!!! You all know how the Dfly is the LBK, well I call the Manix 2 lw a BLK-big knive that can do little things too…a magnacut version would be my grail!!!

Of course it's a real story. Why, I took this photo of this very knife this afternoon. Yeah, I already own one too, sent to me straight from Eric Glesser, along with a box of chocolates. What, you don't have one yet??

It's on the internet, so you can believe it.
