I hope it is translucent neon yellow FRCP. I've been waiting for a screw construction LW, so this would be super cool. I like the looks of the translucent FRCP a lot.

however, based on what eric said in the video, i would assume that we should expect it to look a lot like the native salt.

also, i definitely don't want that nasty translucent yellow scales that people keep posting. i don't really care for the translucent scales to begin with, but some colors make it so much worse. i've never not purchased a knife because of it's color before, but i might have to pass that up.

Magnacut Manix is an instant buy for me. In any configuration. And all configurations.

I just hope they make in normal manix 2 and XL full liners and yeah nothing wring with a light weight but hopefully they not make it only light weight.

Hi ladybug93. The Manix2 lightweight with Magnacut is a done deal for me . It would be nice if DLT did another exclusive with this steel like the M390 in G10 . MG2

I'm be up for a both a screw-construction lwt and a G10 / CF Manix XL in Magnacut.

This would be great.... and even greater in FRN/FRCP than in G10 for me... (at least it came in linerless G10 back then though).

Only thing I personally would like to be changed from the original Manix 2 backlock: Give it the thinner blade stock of the CBBL Manixes.

I can see why you might want that, the thinner blade stock, but the general thickatudeness of the Manix 2 Back Lock is what makes the knife for me. The linerless construction and Magnacut would make it pretty much a de facto Salt.

You have a point here... I had a Manix 2 backlock for a very short time, and that "thickness and sturdyness" felt amazing indeed!!
Just functionwise I think though, that the 3 2 mm blade of the regular Manix is more than strong enough and that thinner stock is one *of several) factors for better slicing performance

Anyway: Regardless how thick/thin the blade is, the backlock Manix should make its comeback!!

Patience is how it used to work but a lot has changed in the past few years. All we got was a hint that they’re working on this, so it will still have to be featured in a reveal before it comes to market. Just have patience, it will come out eventually.

The new soft reveal process has made it difficult to predict when the next reveal will be. Also, it’s not exactly clear what gets revealed in a soft reveal and what gets reserved only for the larger reveal catalog.
