Great work as always! The new handle material on the Alcyone and Polestar look really good.

Good catch! Says Magnacut on the blade and in the description!

Yep, GB2 is still in production. It has just been back ordered and out of stock at a lot of places. It also sells out fast when it does come back in stock.
New handle material and blade material too, right? they went to CTS-BD1N. I was really hoping this would happen, but I had lost hope when iirc Sal said sometime ago that they weren't big sellers so changes were unlikely.

Did you photoshop that?
It’s the image on the front cover of the pricing guide, kind of odd.

Ah, you’re right! I find that really odd too. I really wonder why they would do that? :thinking

Yep, you’re right! I just checked and they were listed as BD1 in the 2021 catalog so they will be getting a new steel in BD1N as well as new G10 scales.

That stonewashed Shaman blade looks fantastic.

I also might finally need a yellow Native - love the upgrade there.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Absolutely love some updates and items in the catalog and I think next year I will treat myself with few pieces...

SS Police is now screw construction instead of pinned
Caly 3.5 :scream
Lil native slip joint
Native in Magnacut
ALcione and Polestar are both now in CTS BD1N - seriously interested
LW Manixes recieved screw construction? - I might be mistaken though on this one.

Must be a new Manix automatic…AutoManix! ;)

I kept flipping through the catalog looking for new models. Light on that this year, but I’m impressed all over again at the volume of knives produced. Holy smokes.

Hey, everyone:
Let me clarify a few things. The cover shot without opening holes is part of the file for the printed catalog - it has to do with some of the effects we'll use in printing. We updated the image on our website, and will soon be updating the image on the pricing guide. Nothing secretive and there's no meaning behind it. ;)

Where are the new items? :eye-roll :thinking
The annual product guide represents our current product line. It includes everything that we have released or announced. New products are announced through our digital Reveal or printed Reveal supplements. For years, we included new products in the annual product guide and had one mid-year product guide release, but we changed that process in 2019. The intent for the Reveals was to be able to announce new products and deliver them within 90-120 days of each Reveal release. Earlier this year (October), we revised our Reveal process to be more timely and flexible in our approach to releasing new products. You can find more information in my full post here.

It’s available at multiple dealers now. Was restocked this week.

Why did the classic Police SS move to screws or whatever it is, you can’t change the classic look. It completely changes the lines and aesthetic of the knife.

Wow, good eye! I understand what you’re saying about the classic look. But I do think it opens the door at least for a titanium handled one like the Endura or Delica. And that very much excites me.

So, "Which Discontinued knives are in the 2022 catalog?"......How about eg: Paysan page 102-103

Out of stock and unable to order for a couple of years from anybody......I call that "DISCONTINUED" !!

So, now you will say...OK that's one....show me another !!?? Not playing that game.

I totally get your point. While technically not discontinued some models have been unavailable for so long that it seems like they were discontinued. On top of that, if & when a Paysan does become available, short of this year, it’ll cost 15% more at US dealers (from $560.00 to $644.00)!

$560 seemed awful expensive awhile ago, today it seems like fair value for what your getting. $644 ? Fasten your seat belts kids. It's going to be a bumpy ride.
