Favorite small spyderco

Post by Cowboyfromhell »

So Im wondering what folks favorite small spydercos are? Mine are the dfly, the ladybug, The jester, and now most recently the mcbee. I actually wouldn't mind a larger Mcbee (the mcbeast)!

I’m also a Dragonfly fan , but all time favorite is the jigged bone Kiwi . Hope to find the slightly larger version someday . MG2

Mine are the maple and raffir noble Chaparrals, but the serrated H1 Dragonfly is also pretty cool.

I'd have a hard time finding a small Spyderco that I don't like. I like them all...

My favorite Spyderco under 2" is definitely the Titanium Squarehead, followed by the McBee, and then the Ladybug Hawkbill.

(The Lil Native is my favorite 2.5" Spyderco)

Urban, Baby Horn, Jester. Chaparral fan as well.

Have a bunch more: Ladybug, Manbugs, Clipitools, etc…

Waiting for the slippie or a back lock exclusive (holding my breath lol) to try the Lil Native.

the ladybug is sentimental to me, so i'd say it's my favorite. i typically carry the hawkbill ladybug salt.

i also really enjoy the frn squarehead because it makes a great spyderco worry stone. and it's stupid sharp.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Gotta be the Dragonfly. I could get by with only a Dragonfly if I had to.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

It's hard to say. I really love the K390 Urban LW as a small pocket knife. I like the Chaparral, followed by the Lil Native for a locking knife close to that size. I love the Dragonfly and have around ten of them, or so. I might need to get some more. I also really like the regular Manbug and the Ladybug Salt (both serrated regular and hawkbill). I carry these daily. As I get older and more sedate, my knife needs change. Nowadays I simply need a knife to cut strings, open packages, and peel apples.

Ladybug as secondary, Chaparral if primary.
