Spyderco Wool Sock Request

#1

Post by Manixguy@1994 »

Sal and Eric ! Please consider wool Spyderco logo socks .Spyderco has T-shirts , hats , and hoodies, why not socks ? They could be be one Spyderco logo on each sock or itty bitty logos all over the socks. Different color options would be a big plus. Regards MG2

Just to play devils advocate, they're a cutlery company not an apparel company.

---

Still though, I would purchase some high quality wool socks with Spyderco logo's on them.

"Candyman" here on the forums owns a Spyderco tie! In my opinion, the pattern on that tie would make for a good pattern on wool socks as well.

Socks to match all the colors of the exclusives/sprints that live in the same drawer with the socks?

I just want a patch I can sew onto a hat. Still can't believe this isn't already a thing.

Darn Tough already get all my sock money, but I might be interested in a collaboration between the two companies if that were possible.

I agree they are a knife company and marketing is a very important to get out more exposure of your product. Any apparels sold is basically advertising. Great point to discuss. This isn’t about the Sock Drawer parody I’m sincere about socks by Spyderco. Regards MG2

To be serious though: I'm not going to buy Spyderco branded socks. Just... no.

Darn Tough socks for the win though.

I like wool socks as much as the next guy; I own plenty of Icebreaker, Darn Tough, and even Kirkland rag wool socks, but this seems like a strange combo.Branding only really makes sense when you can flex it, and it's a novel design that's more than just a bare bones logo. Otherwise I can't see anyone other than diehard fans ponying up for branded socks.

the resistance in this post is hilarious. why does anyone care if someone wants spydiesocks? spyderco makes bandanas. what's so wrong with socks? i'd wear some, but i'd prefer a lightweight version. 😂
