This steel used to be talk of the town 5-6 years ago. Glad there are still fans. No one else offers it either.

I do always hear conflicting reports of whether it performs better or worse than s90v in the edge retention department (especially fine edge), but the corrosion resistance seem amazing for what it does

That sounds about right. I would guess I am around 5 years behind all current trends...LOL

My S110V Millie is on kitchen duty right now. I also have the blurple G10 Manix 2. They will get matching wooden scales soon. I love S110V, no issues after all kinds of uses.

I think my tendency to prefer tougher steels has lead me away from S110V. The thought of chipping out a big chunk of a $150+ knife has scared me enough to just not bother. I hear great things about it though. And I've torn mad chunks out of an M390 blade, so why even worry.

This post inspired me to order a s110v PM2 last night. I also couldn’t resist and ordered a Schempp Bowie haha.
