Perhaps scissors?

What steel would be best? VG10? Maxamet? Magna Cut? ZDP-189?

I like the benchmade one, but it's double blade or scissors for me

Can't believe companies have gotten away with **** steel in a fancy package for what they charge for so long

I've used my military as a cigar cutter quite a few times. Just place the cigar here and close the knife.
I don't have cigars on hand so it's the best I can do.

Alternatively I've also just held the knife in one hand and rotated the cigar with the other. You can easily V cut a cigar too with a knife. Although that cut isn't used as much now.

Isn't the Jumpmaster recommended for that use??

Hey wasn't that older Spyderco "D'Alton Toad" model meant to be a cigar cutter? I had heard that said before anyway.

I'm not into tobacco products so I really wouldn't know what would make an ideal cigar cutter?

Interesting idea. That said I'm generally not in favor any special project that focuses production efforts away from production models or other interesting new knives (yes, I know what's "interesting" is entirely subjective, but I don't feel that a cigar cutter is going to appeal to the broader range of Spyderco customers). I also feel like the cost of this would end up being prohibitive.. I don't see it being a big seller for Spyderco. Then again, I smoke like one cigar per decade at this point, so what do I know haha..

A Spydie with an integral cigar cutter would be a buy for me and I only smoke a few a year.

Perhaps a single bevel chisel ground ladybug size knife with steel liners, one side being premium steel, could use this “feature” to be a take anywhere knife that can cut cigars with the best of them. A two finger grip knife with two finger choils seems like it would work. a hawk bill or straight edge wharnie?

I would love to somehow see Spyderco incorporate the the Spyder-hole into the cutting design but I can’t think how.

My PM2 just cut two Ghurkas tonight...never misses a beat! The only other knives that have worked that well for me are my Opinels and my Vic Classic.
