Knifecenter is the worst place to pre-order. It seems they are always the last to get stuff. Imo never preorder, just scour the internet till you find whatever it is your looking for, you will get one eventually and the hunt is part of the fun!...good luck.

I just wanted to add that mine arrived perfect! Dead center on blade and super smooth action, as usual. Sal your crew has done it again!! Love my crucarta!!

Mine arrived perfect as well… one of the sharpest edges from the factory that I’ve seen. Excellent action and centering. This may be my favorite PM2 to date. Thank you to Sal and the crew for making this a regular production!

Thanks. I’ll try that method first since it doesn’t require loosening the pivot. Everything else about the knife is perfect.

I haven't and I also was very quick on the trigger. One theory I have is KC and BHQ, being the biggest online retailers, have huge orders compared to any others. So SC sends out batches to meet a higher number of small vendor orders, getting them out the door and off the table before the pause it would take to build up inventory to meet the bigger orders. Or they're building up those orders on the side as they send the smaller ones out. Either way those two will inevitably be behind on a universal, non-exclusive model. Anybody actually know whether this is the case or not?

I am in the exact same boat my friend. I haven’t gotten anything from knifecenter but emails saying they haven’t completed my order. Last time I do a pre-order.

I pre-ordered from KC the day this model was announced. My weekly order status update that arrived in my inbox today indicates they have the knife in stock.

I also pre-ordered a few other models so I’ll have to call them when they open to ask them to ship the partial order. Will report back with what I hear.

I tracked this seller on eBay. When Mrj posted the price was MAP with free shipping and seller sold 4 of them. Now, the price has been jacked up to $199. That’s still the low end of the pricing on eBay now with other prices in the $207.50 to $449.00 range!
