Part of me hopes the polestar/alcyone get discontinued…I’d snatch both those up.

Always sad when discontinue time nears , ironic that some knives you think is solid goes down the road and knives that have little interest to yourself stays . Personally I think their line up looks very solid . Tons of variety and sprints and exclusives feeding the engine . MG2

I always get this one wrong! This year I'm thinking not much is going to be discontinued as there isn't much supply and demand is still strong and inflation is on the rise; but maybe the Paysan if inflation is creating double digit percentage increases in prices.

Can't wait to see the list. I only scored 3 or 4 Spydies this ytd. Gimme some nice Taichung gems that have been out of reach so far pricewise!

To those who say that they are uneasy about discontinued models: in a way I do understand you. But at the same time I see that they make room for NEW designs, and it's healthy and necessary to kill off some most likely slow running / stock piling products to make room for new ones. Last but not least, it's THE opportunity to grab higher price Spydies. Nobody really loses - as long as you take the opportunity before it's gone.

Amalgam, Canis, Sliverax, Tropen... gimme! Maybe the Hundred Pacer too. Tempting designs such as Subvert, Paysan & Drunken probably stay out of reach even if discounted. Other Taichung models don't hit my nerves, or (like the Chef, Ikuchi, Smock, Chap) should stay in production.

Always wanted a Rhino but couldn't justify spending the price on a small knife. Hoping there are good some sales for this one!

This list is much easier swallow than I was expecting! I'm going to need to grab a backup Schempp Bowie. I would have loved to score one of the Abel Reels Native 5's but the price was always prohibitive. May need to finally scoop a Snap-It too.

I'm still not sure this is real but it sure seems like it. I've asked where the list came from but haven't got a response yet. I checked the Spyderco's official page on FB, IG, this forum, and the Spyderco App and I don't see it.

EDIT: I asked the person who posted that list where it came from. Two people laughed at my question and the OP has now replied with "Benchmade". So take the list for whatever it's worth at this point. Not worth much IMO

Only thing I'd really like from that list is the Rainbow Trout Native. I'm not a trout fisherman (I'd like to be) but I am a Native 5 fan and would love to have one of these beauties

Will definitely be on the look out for one of the Abel/Spyderco Native 5' for less than MAP price...could be hard to find as they seemed to be in difficult to find already. AND not found in the normal knife channels

Always wanted to try the Brouwer... In France prices for discontinued items do not really change tho !
There's like 5 or 6 left at my online dealer. I'll wait patiently, but try not to miss them :)

Thanks for sharing @Sharp Guy, I'm a Native 5 fan too but not that much into fishing. Plus I do not know the person/company they collabed with on this :grin-sweat
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

If that's a true list, that's not so bad! Rhino surprises me a bit though.

So... BladeHQ says they are discontinued, but nowhere else is saying that yet. So I dont know. I would like to not miss out on a serrata before its too late, maybe a backup province if the price falls a lot.

It would be nice to get some confirmation from Spyderco.

Z cuts are great. I have 5, and I've given like 10 of them as gifts.

Several of those went in the clearance bin at New Graham. https://newgraham.com/Knives-Spyderco-Clearance/

I'm surprised to see the Z-cuts on the list.

Might just have to grab a back-up Rhino if it gets discontinued.
