i just noticed the rhino. it would be a shame to see it go after it took so much to bring to life. i'd like to grab one, but i've got too many i'm waiting for already that i want more. my luck, i'd grab a rhino and the four others i'm waiting for would immediately be back in stock and i'd have to miss them again.

Z-Cuts? I don’t understand that at all. I have several and I love mine. I need to order some ASAP. I also have a desire for the Mantra. Have to think about that but I probably will start looking for one.

Maybe the Rhino is getting discontinued to make room for a new Rheinhold design

Still suprised by all the z-cuts.

I'm interested in the Rhino & Brouwer. The Mantra 3 was a step backwards in my opinion, I'd like to see more Mantras but don't know if we'll be getting many/any more flippers, and...at that point it's a different knife I suppose.

Schempp Bowie, Sustain & Province are all interesting at a discount.

As for the Z-Cuts, I have a couple and never really connected with them, but I'm surprised to see them scrapped so soon since many people seem to really enjoy using them and they are good low cost kitchen tools. They went all in with so many SKU's...maybe didn't promote them well enough?
So it goes.

Zcuts are a surprise. At the price point I find them a great value. Hands down my go to tomato knife is the SE version. I'd still like to see a stouter version as a bread knife.

Discontinuing some of those models like the
Z-cuts and Province seriously baffles me, but I guess I’ll hold my breath until it’s officially stated from Spyderco.

Several of those went in the clearance bin at New Graham. https://newgraham.com/Knives-Spyderco-Clearance/

I'm surprised to see the Z-cuts on the list.

Guess they don't sell and ship to Germany. :(

Who would be willing to support me getting a Province? PM me.........

the black z-cuts seem weird. i can see them getting rid of colors, but why not just keep all 4 in black? guess ill have to buy backups. i have the 4 different models in black and they all get used every day.

Hey, All:

The Z-Cuts are not going away, they will just be available in fewer colors and edge options--black, green, and red in PlainEdge/pointed and same colors in serrated/blunt-tipped.

Stay safe,

For ~$150 it looks like the Sustain will be my next Spyderco. Always liked the looks of it but I try to observe a hard $200 limit on knives.

Good to know. Gonna have to buy a few pointed SE for back-ups to my work Z Cut.

Yeah, that is the one I reach for the most of the 4 variations I have. The serrations are also different than the ones on the blunt version, which is interesting that they did that. I just bought a handful of backups from DLT. Most other dealers appear to be sold out of the black pointy spyderedge. DLT has 8 left now after my purchase. Jump on it!

Don't expect much discount over here in the land of restrictions and expensive.

I have the Brouwer and the Serrata so I'm good.
Parata wouldn't want that for free.
Rhino, not sure.

Province looks like an interesting one but I don't see myself chopping down trees with a knife anytime soon, depends if I can find it with any discount at all...

I don’t see a Discontinued list posted by a Spyderco official either on this forum, BladeForums, USN nor on Spyderco social media channels of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. nor on the Spyderco App.

Yep! I looked around too. See the post I made soon after I posted that list. The guy wouldn't say where the list came from

This is great news, but guess I’ll have to jump on a couple SE/pointed today!

I have L/XL hands and can get a really comfortable 4 finger grip on it. It’s like magic for a knife that small…
