SpyderEdge Lightweight Resilience Update

#1

Post by TazKristi »

In the September byte, we featured the Resilience and the new lightweight offerings announced in Reveal 8. We originally announced three new Lightweight Resilience models, all offered in all three edge configurations.

Please be aware that the Lightweight Resilience will not be offered in a SpyderEdge configuration due to unforeseen circumstances.

We have notified our Dealers and Distributors that the C142SBK, C142SBBK, and C142SBL will not be produced.

The digital version of Reveal 8 has been updated accordingly.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Kristi

Definitely a bummer, I had high hopes for this one. Hopefully they work it out someday.

Kristi, may I ask:

Any explanation why the S35VN Tenacious also can't come in full SE, but only CE?
After all there IS a full SE Tenacious in 8Cr...?

Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

NOPE.....when they say...."will not be offered in a SpyderEdge configuration due to unforeseen circumstances".....it means they don't want to tell you for their own reasons.

Could be an ordering mistake they made and you don't need to know.

Well, they said that about the Resilience lightweight, and that it won´t come in full SE. No Resilience ever came in full SE.

I was asking about the Tenacious, which DOES come in full SE, both in the LW and the G10 version, but just in 8CR, not in S35VN though announced it would (but is so far just available in PE and CE).

And sure, I "don´t need to know", but I can ask - part of what this forum is about, sometimes there´ll be an reply / explanation, sometimes not.

Kristi,
Thanks. I should have noticed here, but I'm not nearly as regular as I used to be.
