2022-2023 Forum Knife

#1

Post by Dazen »

Let‘a get the conversation started about a 2022 Forum Knife. That way Spyderco has plenty of time to make it for next year. As always it needs to be a Golden Model.

I would like to see:

Native Chief (maybe LW) in SE LC200N with Burgundy scales.

Or Lil’ Native SLIPIT with the same as above.

What do y’all think?!

Oh man, that annual topic again!! ;)

Always fun, always interesting, but never leads to a result many could agree on.

Anyway:
- Since I guess it has to be a Golden made model (?): Manix 2 LW would be nice!
- If not Golden: Chap or Endela SE...
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

If my sources are correct ( correct me if I'm wrong ), 2021 was the 25th anniversary of the military. Just saying !

A 52100 Native 5 with smooth charcoal gray or dark blue G10 and minimal billboarding would be awesome.

Manix 2 LW, LC200N, screw construction, deep carry wire clip.

Combo edge, with the shallow version of the serrations.

Many of those are great suggestions and as in the last thread (I think I started) I pointed out that many of those knives would exclude out brothers and sisters in places that do not allow locking knives or that have blade length restrictions. For that reason, the UKPK or the slipit Lil Native would be the best choice.

As usual, just about every response is a different suggestion.

I prefer to let Spyderco decide. :bug-red

I would be down with this but blue or burgundy FRN. It would go nicely with my other Native Forum Knife.

That’s their problem….

Just kidding. How about a Pingo in a cool steel and FRN based on your suggestion?
