Best way to stay in the know for new releases and drops?
Loads of knives on the site id like but all sold out. Anyone have a way of knowing when new drops happen?

Yeah the app is good. For longer range planning spending time here and reading a lot is great, and if you have any favorite dealers like DLT, Blade HQ, Kinfejoy etc. then subscribe to their updates. And signing up for the Spyderco Byte so you know when a reveal is coming.
Reading all the threads here can be tough so Ramzar's thread is a good one to watch.

Pick a good dealer and sign up to be notified of in stocks.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Sorry, but this is the only way. You might get away with every other day! But if there are ever certain models you’re looking for we might be able to help

The single best way is to monitor the Forums here.
The app is helpful for dealer exculsives, not so much Sprint Runs.
Edit, Welcome to the Forum!

You need to get active and stay active. That's honestly the only way. There is no fool proof "notify me when" method that's as reliable as word of mouth. Take for instance the Police 4 SE K390, it just hit several retailers today, many that I had the "notify me when available" option set and one that I even had a preorder in with and I only got one email from any of them, it went to my spam email and I had already ordered from another dealer prior to getting the notification...and I got word of that dealer getting them in stock from a member here.
So, yeah. I like to use tab groups on Chrome to open all the dealer pages that I'd order a knife from and just have them ready to refresh and check whenever. With sprints and exclusives, you better take the day off work, be logged into that dealer's website with credit card info and shipping and all that already saved and ready to fire it off because some will sell out faster than you can even enter your info.

Didn't know they had an app. Thanks for the tip. I see on the website they have a "coming soon" on a Para 2 with Micarda. Don't have a Para yet so figured it be a great entry but no clue when/if I'll be able to purchase.

If I'm more inclined to order direct from the Spyderco website, any recommendations for that specifically?

My foolproof process, never missed a sprint or new knife that I wanted:OurWorldWar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 7:21 pmLoads of knives on the site id like but all sold out. Anyone have a way of knowing when new drops happen?
Step 1: Wake up hungover on January 1(or a few days later) and login to Spyderco site
Step 2: Subscribe to Ramzar's annual Delivered & Upcoming post
Step 3: Eat wings you found in bowl on floor and rethink your life choices
Step 4: Turn on TV and watch cartoons
Step 5: Wait for email saying Ramzar or Budd made a new post (ignore the rest)

Other options are Twitter, Instagram and Facebook...
I only do here because I don't do social media.
